In light of some articles that have appeared in the local press, the Autonomous Province of Trento intends to confirm that it will be the area identified in Via Monte Baldo, already owned by Patrimonio del Trentino, that will host the definitive headquarters of the School for Health Professions and some activities of the School of Medicine (simulators). Most of the activities of the School of Medicine will instead take place in the new university campus to be built in the nearby area in Via al Desert.
In the meantime, the Province, through Patrimonio del Trentino, has already published an expression of interest in order to find a temporary solution to overcome the current logistical problems by offering a dignified solution to students and teaching staff.
"We therefore reaffirm our commitment to building, together with the University of Trento, a centre of excellence for the Health Professions and the School of Medicine, which will be able to accompany the growth of the entire University of Trento, in full compliance with the objectives shared a few years ago," states Provincial Councillor for Health, Social Policies, Disability and Family Stefania Segnana.
