Organising a medical, scientific and professional event means fostering the development of science, research and the economy by generating the exchange of ideas and knowledge. To activate this virtuous path, since 2016 Riva del Garda Fierecongressi has been promoting the Club of the "Ambassadors of Trentino for Congresses": a network of authoritative personalities in the academic, medical, scientific, entrepreneurial and institutional spheres, who promote Trentino in Italy and worldwide by proposing it as a venue for events, meetings or conventions of national and international importance. On the occasion of the project presentation event organised yesterday evening in the setting of the ITAS Forum, awards were presented to the ambassadors who have contributed to bringing and realising important convention events in the area during the years 2021 and 2022.
Also present at the awards ceremony were Roberto Failoni, councillor for craftsmanship, commerce, promotion, sport and tourism of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Antonio Ferro, general manager of the Provincial Agency for Health Services, and Flavio Deflorian, rector of the University of Trento, who expressed great satisfaction with the initiative and the ambassadors' commitment to increasing the visibility of the destination and bringing significant added value to its scientific, cultural and economic development.
