Simplification

When we talk about administrative simplification, we are referring tothe set of measures aimed at making administrative procedures more streamlined, faster and more transparent, by eliminating unnecessary procedural steps and checks, or pointless obligations placed on citizens and businesses.
This process is achieved through regulatory, administrative, organisational and technological measures that reduce the burden of bureaucracy, thereby facilitating relations between citizens and a more efficient, rapid and transparent public administration with shorter response times.

With this in mind, on 30 June 2022 the Provincial Executive approved the strategic document ‘Towards the Trentino Digital District 2026 – Digital and Simplification Agenda of the Autonomous Province of Trento 2022–2024’. The 2022–2024 Simplification Agenda, with updated measures and integrated with digitalisation initiatives, has also been aligned with the most recent policy documents as well as with the public administration modernisation and innovation measures set out in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
