Projects commissioned by the Autonomous Province of Trento
In order to respond to the needs of local areas and support the productive and economic system during a period characterised by an energy crisis and rising prices, the Provincial Executive has appointed Special Commissioners to carry out – and in other cases to complete – projects that have a significant impact on the province’s socio-economic fabric, or that are characterised by a high degree of design complexity.
The appointment of these Commissioners is intended to ensure the effective operational management of the projects in order to meet completion deadlines, enable the swift utilisation of the financial resources made available, support the province’s technical departments and establish effective coordination with local authorities, and ensure the sustainability of both planned activities and those of the utmost urgency arising from unforeseen events.

S-478 Ponte Arche Variant - Delivery of Geognostic Investigations
On 21 October 2024, in the municipality of Stenico (TN), additional geognostic investigations were delivered in support of the design of the S-478 project for the construction of a bypass around the built-up area of Ponte Arche by means of a variation to the current route of the S.S. 237 del Caffaro between the area west of the built-up area and the Ponte dei Servi bridge.
