Borgo Est junction on S.S. 47 della Valsugana

The intervention is divided into three main points:

• The construction of a roundabout north of the SS47 with a diameter of 40 m, at the two service stations at km 94+600. The entrance and exit ramps of the SS47 converge on it, a connecting road with the Borgo sports centre, about 290 m long, for which no works are planned, a connecting road with a second existing roundabout on the SP 109 to the east of Borgo. The latter road runs in a north-south direction for a total of about 550m, crossing the river Brenta with a 100m-long bridge and bypassing the Valsugana railway with a 30m-long overpass;
• The construction of a second roundabout south of the SS47 with a diameter of approximately 38m in which the entrance and exit lanes from the SS47 and an existing road converge;
• The completion of the junction through the adaptation of an existing section of road that underpasses the SS47 and that, already at present, allows the connection between the areas north of the state road and those to the south (De Bellat Foundation, Spagolle and Olle settlements). The road needs to be adapted because at present its width is approximately 2.50m, and the altimetrical clearance inside the subway does not comply with the prescriptions dictated by the Highway Code and reference regulations (DM 6792/2001 - Functional and geometric standards for road construction). The adaptation will affect approximately 70m of the existing subway, with a length of approximately 30m.
