Information, instructions, regulations and forms for submitting an application for the grant and payment of a contribution with automatic procedure for the implementation of campaigns to promote youth sport, gender equality, social cohesion and sport for the disabled. ATTENTION: applications can only be submitted from 1 January to 31 October 2025 for initiatives completed in October, November or December 2024.

Description

This is a contribution for carrying out promotion campaigns within the province that favour youth sport, encourage gender equality and/or social cohesion in sport, support sport for people with disabilities.

Promotion campaigns with an automatic procedure must be carried out in the year of application if they are concluded by 30 September.

If they are concluded in October, November and December they must be included in applications submitted between 1 January and 31 October of the following year.

Eligible initiatives include campaigns that have pursued one or more of the following objectives
(a) to initiate young people up to 18 years of age, or up to 25 years of age if they have a disability, into the knowledge and practice of the various sporting disciplines;
(b) to increase sports activities and initiatives aimed at encouraging gender equality
c) promote social integration, also by bringing people living in or exposed to forms of marginality closer to the practice of sport, in order to prevent situations of exclusion or social hardship
(d) to promote social cohesion actions through sporting activity and to encourage people with disabilities to practise sport.

Applications for grants under the automatic procedure are submitted
a) in simple form: by the individual association or sports club
b) in aggregate form: by the individual sports association or club, as lead partner, and other sports associations or other public bodies or private entities, having their registered office in the Province of Trento and recognised by CONI or CIP or registered in the register of voluntary organisations, established pursuant to Provincial Law no. 8 of 13 February 1992. In these cases, all administrative and financial relations are with the lead partner, while the aggregated entities must play an active role in the project.

Eligible expenses are those for
(a) promotion of the initiative
(b) materials and services supporting the initiative
(c) rental of sports facilities or spaces
d) reimbursement of expenses and fees of technical trainers and coaches.

The contribution is granted to the extent of 30% of the expenses incurred and documented under the above-mentioned points c), d). The expenses under a), b) above are only eligible for the calculation of the deficit.

The contribution may be increased by 10% for campaigns identified by the Provincial Council that are of particular value with regard to the introduction of youth sports and initiatives aimed at fostering social cohesion.

In any case, the contribution is granted up to a maximum of €40,000.

The contribution is provided for by Article 15, paragraph 1, letter b) of Provincial Law no. 4 "Provincial Law on Sport 2016" of 21 April 2016.

Restrictions

The application for support under the automatic procedure for initiatives that end by 30 September must be submitted between 1 January and 31 October of each year.

Applications under the automatic procedure for initiatives that end in October, November or December must be submitted between 1 January and 31 October of the following year.

Only initiatives involving an expenditure of €10,000 or more are eligible for funding.

Each applicant may apply for funding for a maximum of 3 initiatives per year and per sport discipline.

Who it's for

Sports associations and clubs registered in the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities and regularly affiliated to a committee or provincial delegation of the national sports federations, a sports promotion body or an associated sports discipline.

The application must be signed by the president of the sports organisation.

The application must be submitted on the fillable form provided by the administration. It can be sent in PDF or JPG format to the certified mailbox serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it, or delivered by hand to the Sports Activities Office.

1. Application completed in full, dated and signed.
2. Programme and description of activities carried out, dated and signed.
3. Statement of expenditure incurred and income generated, dated and signed.
4. A receipted copy of the invoices or other documentation of equivalent probative value relating to the supported expenditure under points C) and D) of the final financial plan.
5. List of expenditure documents on a prepared form, either in PDF or spreadsheet format.
6. Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016, dated and signed.
7. Photocopy of an identity document of the applicant, if the application is signed with a handwritten signature on a scanned document and not in the presence of the employee in charge.

The 90-day period for the conclusion of the procedure starts on the day following the submission of the application. If additional documentation is requested, the time limit for the procedure remains suspended until it is received.
