Grants for cultural activities of provincial importance

In order to encourage the growth of cultural offer, the Province intervenes by means of financial facilities to support cultural projects of provincial importance, which conform to the aims and principles expressed in the guidelines for the Province's cultural policies.

The calls for proposals are published in the Official Bulletin of the Region and in the media and define the characteristics of the project, the requirements for project eligibility, and the procedures for the evaluation and implementation of the project.

Applications may be submitted from 2 to 30 November of the year preceding the year to which they relate.

Grant beneficiaries must submit to the competent provincial structure, with adequate advance notice, at least 10 days before the start of the activity, all the promotional material of the activities and initiatives financed (posters, brochures, press releases, invitations, etc.) so as to allow monitoring and verification of the activity carried out.

Applications may be submitted by non-profit cultural organisations with legal personality or registered with the Runts or with at least two years of activity, which, according to their Articles of Association or Memorandum of Association, carry out mainly cultural activities and have their legal or operational headquarters in Trentino.

Applications for grants for cultural projects of provincial importance (Article 12 of the "provincial law") may not be submitted by those who have already submitted, in the same year of reference, an application for a grant under Article 21bis of the "provincial law" (Single Provincial Fund for Entertainment) or an application for a grant under Article 11 of the "provincial law" (activities of provincial importance implemented by agreement).

In addition, grants for cultural projects of provincial importance (art. 12 of the "provincial law") are not available to entities belonging to federations of associations financed through the stipulation of specific agreements, provided for by the "provincial law", for the support of activities of an ongoing nature.

The application form can be submitted using one of the following channels

• direct delivery to the competent provincial structure or to the public assistance and information desks of the Province
• by postal mail by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt; the date of the postmark of the accepting post office shall be considered the date of admission;
• by fax to the number corresponding to the competent provincial structure;
• by e-mail to the certified mailbox serv.attcult@pec.provincia.tn.it.
