Description

The Provincial Universal Allowance (AUP) is a financial benefit intended for households resident in the Province of Trento. The allowance is a form of social assistance and is designed to meet general needs, such as income support, or specific needs, such as support for children, people with disabilities and the birth rate.

The single allowance serves to ensure fairness in the allocation of public benefits, administrative simplification and the rationalisation of support measures, and has incorporated a range of pre-existing benefits. By submitting a single application, it is possible to access multiple benefits, which are streamlined and defined as specific ‘components’ of the single allowance.

Components of the single allowance andmain features.

General or specific needs are categorised as components A, B1, B3, C and C2. Where the eligibility criteria are met, individuals are entitled to one or more components of the Universal Child Allowance.
