New range of high-efficiency heat pumps

Industrial project financed with a grant under the Provincial Law on incentives for enterprises, aid for the promotion of research and development-Provincial Law No. 6 of 13 December 1999, as amended

Pompa di calore

General information

The aim of the project is to acquire and develop the knowledge/skills to produce a new series of latest-generation heat pumps, with particularly innovative technical content in terms of both performance and sustainability of the product itself.

In the e2Tech company's desire, the new products resulting from this applied research must have performance equal to or better than the best appliances on the market and be characterised by innovation for the sector.
The goal of eco-sustainability is to use natural refrigerant gas and recyclable materials.

The most important achievements distinguished by a character of originality and innovation for the sector are the following:

1) the definition of a regenerative circuit with two electronic lamination valves in series, with the relevant algorithms to be able to control them effectively and with advantage over traditional schemes.

2) the exploration in detail of the mechanisms of ice formation on fins with different surface treatments (and the related process of removing frost during defrost cycles) with the development of an innovative treatment.

The heat pumps developed and fine-tuned as a result of this research project will be manufactured in Trentino and marketed in Europe.
