Description
Located between Riva del Garda and Limone, the local reserve includes one of the rare stretches of beach on the western shore of Trentino Garda.
The 500-metre long Val Gola can only be reached by lake, but landing is prohibited and access is only permitted for the purpose of its management and conservation.
In fact, the objective is to have an undisturbed stretch of the shore where the natural habitat can be found, with the aim of recreating a breeding ground for bleak and chub, native fish species that are resistant to moderate pollution conditions, which have suffered a drastic decline in recent years.
