Local reserve
A peaty meadow in the Bleggio woods not far from the Durone pass, in the municipality of Bleggio Superiore.
The reserve is one of the protected areas that make up the Sarca River Park.
The area is characterised by a peatland zone and is particularly interesting from a naturalistic point of view due to the presence of some uncommon species that have adapted their lifestyle to the particular environment of the peatland. These include the fibrous clover, the golden mace with its showy inflorescences and the greasy grass, a small carnivorous plant with sticky leaves. Also worth mentioning is the presence, in the peat meadows adjacent to the pond, of some rare orchids.

It can be accessed by taking the new road towards malga Stabio, along the provincial road that connects the Giudicarie Esteriori to Busa di Tione.
The proximity to the equipped and recreational area of Passo Durone is a strong point for the enjoyment of this area, which, however, must not threaten the naturalistic qualities and protected species that live in this delicate environment.
