Two little-known environmental topics, pollution by microplastics and the impact of the web on the environment, are the focus of two videos recently produced by APPA - the provincial Environmental Protection Agency - and intended primarily for schools, but also for anyone interested. The intention is to make young people aware of environmental issues, in order to promote a change in mentality that is as sustainable as possible, starting from the contexts in which they live and relate to each other, from the school environment to the city and the world as a whole. The real challenge is therefore to develop knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that enable citizens to make informed decisions, to act responsibly to safeguard environmental integrity, to promote an ethical economy and to build a fairer society for present and future generations.
The educational videos, available on the Agency's portal and produced in motion graphics, sound design and voiceover, are designed to address environmental issues by stimulating students' learning through one of the most popular tools among teachers.
