The roadworthiness test of a vehicle is necessary when one or more changes are made to the construction or functional characteristics that require an update of the vehicle's registration document through the application of a coupon, and in order to do so, it is necessary to go to the Civil Vehicle Registration Authority.NB: As provided for in Ministerial Circular prot. no. 12345 of 18 April 2023 and as of 22 May 2023, those who book a roadworthiness test or inspection through the Civil Vehicle Registration Authority's computer systems will no longer be able to make changes to the booking from 00.00 hours of the same day. Therefore, each subsequent operation will be considered as a new one, requiring payment of the fees and, if applicable, the fees for it.
