"An economic benefit for families, and for businesses, which is even more important as it translates into an environmental, social and economic benefit for our community. Those who have government responsibilities at any level must take charge of these problems and we are doing so and will continue to do so for a better future'. So said Vice-President and Councillor for Urban Planning, Environment and Cooperation of the Autonomous Province of Trento Mario Tonina yesterday evening in Brentonico at the presentation of the project 'Photovoltaics for families. Sostegni e contributi per un futuro più sostenibile' ('Photovoltaics for families. Support and contributions for a more sustainable future'), which attracted more interest than expected, as confirmed by President Bontempelli in ten days, more than 300 applications were received, an initially planned target that, given the start with a bang, will be further financed. With councillor Tonina, president Michele Bontempelli, BIM board member Diego Moar, director Luca Battisti of the Adige River Bim Consortium and Aprie (Provincial Agency for Water Resources and Energy) official Silvia Debiasi, were welcomed by Brentonico mayor Dante Dossi, who, in thanking his fellow citizens, the Province and BIM, emphasised "the role and commitment of the public body in seeking solutions to the energy issue that has become ever greater".
