Civil defence: 'Beware of the heat, up to Monday it will exceed 35 degrees'.

The Trentino Civil Protection has activated its provincial alert system for high temperatures, in light of the MeteoTrentino forecasts. Until Monday 25 July, temperatures will be well above average at all altitudes: 'The freezing point in the atmosphere will exceed 4,500 metres; in many low-lying areas of the valley floors, maximum temperatures will exceed 35 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures will not fall below 20 degrees Celsius (tropical nights). In the lower layers, during the hottest hours, an increase in the concentration of ozone will be likely,' reads the warning signed by engineer Mauro Gaddo, director of the Autonomous Province of Trento's Forecast and Planning Office.

Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Thursday 21 July 2022

Coronavirus: today's report from the provincial health services agency reports the death of one person; this was a woman in her 80s, with previous illnesses, who had been vaccinated. There are 703 new cases. Of these, 7 were detected at the molecular level (out of 185 tests carried out) and 696 at the antigenic level (out of 2720 tests carried out). The molecular then confirmed 10 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. A total of 91 patients were hospitalised, 3 of whom were in intensive care. Yesterday there were 7 new admissions and 13 discharges.

Isera, Appa investigations after the fire in the production area

The rapid intervention of the fire brigade and the Provincial Agency for Environmental Protection (Appa) in the case of the fire inside the Isera factory that was hit by a fire during the night, made it possible to avert the risk of atmospheric emissions that would require urgent measures. At the production area, the Isera volunteer fire brigade was on hand, supported by the corps from Arco, Besenello, Brentonico, Dro, Mori, Nogaredo, Nomi, Rovereto, Villa Lagarina and Volano, and the Trento fire brigade's permanent corps. Also on site were Appa officials, who provided support on environmental issues (atmospheric emissions and management of potentially contaminated water) and the mayor of Isera, Graziano Luzzi, who was in constant contact with the general manager of the Civil Protection Department, Raffaele De Col.

Fire in the production area of Isera is extinguished

After a night of work at the Isera factory that was hit by a fire, this morning at around 5 a.m. the fire brigade got rid of the flames, completing the operations to make the area safe.
It is confirmed that no persons were involved, also because fortunately the outbreak developed late in the evening when no workers were present in the warehouse.
The technicians of the Environmental Protection Agency are completing the collection of elements for the official investigation, given that the company affected by the event sells chemical products: according to the first information, however, there are no consequences, also because the timely intervention of the fire brigade made it possible to quickly circumscribe the phenomenon and isolate the most critical points.

Fire brigade working on fire in Isera

Operations are underway in the industrial area of Isera to extinguish a fire that broke out shortly before midnight in a factory of a company that deals with the marketing of chemical products. The alarm was triggered by a passer-by who noticed smoke accompanied by the sound of the fire extinguishing system installed in the company.
About sixty firefighters and technicians are working on the scene: the call involved the voluntary corps of Isera, Mori Rovereto, Nogaredo, Villalagarina, Nomi, Volano, Dro as well as the permanent corps of Trento and an ambulance of Trentino Emergency present as a precautionary measure, although no persons were reported to be involved. The Environmental Protection Agency is also at the scene of the fire, given the type of structure involved. At the moment, the fire brigade is keeping the flames, which have caused a lot of smoke, under control, considering the probable presence of cardboard and other packaging material in the warehouse.
