Until the early hours of Saturday, the Alps will be affected by wet and unstable westerly flows in places. From today's afternoon and especially in the evening or late evening, scattered showers or thunderstorms may develop, moving slowly towards the east: heavy rainfall in a short time, frequent lightning and strong wind gusts may occur over narrow areas. The precipitation will tend to subside in the night.
From late tomorrow morning, starting in the west, precipitation is likely to be widespread and locally heavy thunderstorms in the evening and early part of the night. The rainfall will tend to subside starting in the west in the early hours of Saturday and then will be generally absent until at least Wednesday next week. In fact, from Saturday and at least until next Wednesday, the expansion of an African promontory is expected, which will bring stable conditions and a progressive and significant increase in temperatures.
