At the invitation of the municipal administration of Frassilongo, the volunteer fire brigades of the corps that worked to put out the fire that recently affected the Panarotta forests met yesterday evening in the hamlet of Kamauvrunt. The meeting took place at the marquee set up for the festival organised in these days for the 'Madonna della Pace' (Our Lady of Peace), and was intended precisely as a sign of gratitude to all the personnel who worked so hard to put out the flames. The President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, who took part in the evening, praised the spirit of cooperation between Corps and between Districts that had been put in place on this occasion. He spoke of a commitment that could not be taken for granted, which also entailed risks, and which once again, after what had already been done on the occasion of the Marmolada tragedy, demonstrated what the Trentino Civil Defence system was capable of doing.
