Women who, in the sports sector, have "made history" in Trentino are the protagonists of the exhibition inaugurated today in the spaces of Palazzo Trentini, seat of the Provincial Council. The exhibition entitled "Mettersi in gioco - pioniere dello sport in Trentino" is curated by photographer Piero Cavagna and includes evocative shots and accompanying texts. An important initiative that - as the provincial councillor for sport emphasised - celebrates the role of women in the various disciplines: fencing, cycling, mountaineering, basketball, athletics, skiing, swimming and diving. The curtain rises on the exhibition during the week of the Sports Festival, which will be attended by many Trentino women and guests from far and wide. Everyone will be able to see the important results achieved in a province that, as confirmed by the Sole 24 Ore classification, is the most sporty in Italy.
