   Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Friday 16 September 2022

   Coronavirus: today's report from the Provincial Health Services Agency reports no deaths. There are 292 new cases. Of these, 4 were detected by molecular (out of 43 tests carried out) and 288 by antigen (out of 1,481 tests carried out). The molecular then confirmed 0 positives detected in the past few days by rapid tests. The number of hospitalised patients is 47, 2 of whom are in intensive care. Yesterday there were 6 new admissions and 8 discharges.

   Agricultural enterprises and non-agricultural activities: calls extended to 30 November

   Today the Provincial Council, on the proposal of the Councillor for Agriculture, Forestry, Hunting and Fisheries, decided to extend to 30 November 2022 the deadlines of the calls for investments in agricultural enterprises, measure 4.1.1 of the Rural Development Programme (RDP), and the related call for the support and development of non-agricultural activities, with particular reference to the qualification of agritourism activities, measure 6.4.1 of the RDP. The measure ordered by the executive allows the deadlines to be synchronised with that of the call for support for the establishment of young farmers, measure 6.1.1, which expires at the end of November.

   Recruitment in the craft sector: Career day coming up

   Following on from the July 2022 event, Agenzia del Lavoro is once again proposing a second recruitment event in September to stimulate the matching of job supply and demand in the craft sector in the Upper and Lower Valsugana area.
   The new Career Day, organised in collaboration with the Association of Artisans and Small Enterprises of the Province of Trento, will be held on Thursday 22 September 2022 in the afternoon at the Pergine Valsugana Job Centre.

    The 'Trentino Prize for Research' is established

    The commitment to promoting excellence in scientific research in the province continues, also through initiatives aimed at giving greater visibility to the results and their territorial impact. In view of the importance of the research and innovation system for the development of the territory, with a measure proposed by the provincial councillor for economic development, research and employment, the provincial government has established the "Premio Trentino per la Ricerca" (Trentino Prize for Research). The prize is intended to be an incentive to pursue research excellence and a means of communicating and disseminating its results to a wide and even non-specialist public. The 2022 edition is aimed at young researchers, aged 40 and under. With the measure adopted today by the Provincial Council, the call for applications was approved, which identifies the criteria and procedures for participation in the initiative. In the coming days, a provision of the Director of the Industry, Research and Mining Service will approve the forms and set the deadlines for submitting applications.

    World Cycling Championships, how the traffic changes in Trento on Sunday 18

    Until 18 September Trento will host the World Cycling Championships for Amateurs, which will see the participation of numerous athletes in various categories.
    For the time necessary for the various trials to take place, the event will prohibit transit and parking along the entire route.
    The closure times of the roads concerned will vary in relation to the course of the various races and can be summarised as follows.

    Euregio Mobility and Open Day tomorrow

    Tomorrow, 17 September 2022, there will be free travel from Kufstein to Borghetto: the initiative is dedicated to holders of a public transport season ticket or the Euregio Family pass. There will also be free admission to numerous museums in the provinces of Trento and Bolzano and Tyrol.
    In addition, the doors of the Euregio information and coordination offices in Trento, Bolzano and Innsbruck will be open to all citizens. The opening hours, with the possibility of a visit accompanied by members of the local Euregio team, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
