   At the foot of the climbing walls set up in Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, immediately taken by storm by young and very young, the programme dedicated to the sport of climbing made its debut this afternoon. The protagonist was Wafaa Amer, a climber of Egyptian origin, but who has lived in Italy for many years and where, at a very young age, she discovered this discipline that immediately won her over. She told the audience of the Sports Festival about her sporting and human journey in which she had to overcome first of all prejudices and prohibitions within her family, but which allowed her to achieve greater self-awareness.

    Ettore Messina, a basketball star between the excitement of victories and the strength to overcome defeats

    One of the legends of Italian basketball, Ettore Messina, now coach of Olimpia Milano the reigning Italian champion team, was the protagonist of this afternoon's meeting at the Sports Festival. Messina traced the contours of his last feat with the Red Shoes after the exciting challenge in the final against Virtus Bologna that came down to game 6. The Sicilian coach conveyed to the Festival audience all the passion that has always animated his coaching career that has led him, to date, to win 32 trophies with clubs, including five Italian championships and six in Russia. Messina also praised the Italian national basketball team, recalled his experience in the NBA. and outlined the coordinates of Olimpia's next season between the hunt for a third star and ambitions in the Euroleague.

    Adriano Galliani is Italy's most successful football manager thanks to the 29 trophies he won for the Rossoneri in 31 years from 1986 to 2017. In the last three seasons he has taken Monza, his hometown team, from Serie C to Serie A for the first time in the history of the Brianza club. Last Sunday at the Stadio Brianteo, the team coached by Raffaele Palladino overcame Juventus 1-0, achieving its first victory in the top division. The 'condor', from the stage of the Teatro Sociale, spoke about the most recent joys and the past studded with crazy successes obtained thanks to an impressive series of champions who came to Milan thanks to the precious work of Galliani himself.

    Baldassarri and Raffaeli: the rhythm of victory

    The Italian butterflies star in the first pink flight over Trento at the Festival of Sport. Sofia Raffaeli and Milena Baldassarri, the stars of Italian rhythmic gymnastics, who experienced their last 'moments of glory' at the recent World Championships in Sófia, Bulgaria, accompanied by a brilliant Yuri Chechi (Olympic gold medallist in Atlanta '96) on the stage of a Teatro Sociale crowded with students, enchanted the audience with their lucidity, determination, friendliness and elegance. The opening and closing interviews also included a highly applauded performance by the two Italian athletes.
