   The Champions of Spain '82: Bergomi, Collovati, Causio, Conti and Altobelli at the Azzurri 'table

   The five champions who won the 1982 World Cup in Spain gathered at the Santa Chiara auditorium in Trento, to relive the extraordinary path that led the Azzurri to win their third World Cup against West Germany, with the final result of 3:1. The memory of coach Enzo Bearzot - the man who made us win the World Cup, explained Altobelli - but also that of Paolo Rossi (on his birthday), a striker who made the difference during the tournament. It was the national team of records: the only one, of the four that won the World Cup, to score all the goals on action, to never go into extra time and to beat both the reigning world champions (Maradona's Argentina) and the European title holders (West Germany).

   In sport, as in life, never give in to difficulties

   From the judo Olympian to the 1982 world champion via the queen of foil. Maria Centracchio, Bruno Conti and Valentina Vezzali are three athletes who have marked the history of Italian sport and who have one thing in common: never give up, never stop in the face of difficulties, never throw in the towel despite adversity. And this applies both in sport and in everyday life. This was the clear message, addressed above all to the youngest sportsmen and women, of this morning's "Sports Books" event as part of the Trento Sports Festival promoted by the Gazzetta dello Sport and Trentino Marketing. Strong and significant testimonies were given by Maria Centracchio, (a bronze medal worth gold at the Tokyo Olympics) and Bruno Conti (Italian champion with Roma and protagonist of Italy as world champion in 1982 under Bearzot) interspersed with anecdotes and curiosities told by them; while the undersecretary to the presidency of the council of ministers with responsibility for sport and a world-class fencer, entrusted the author of the book Paolo Marabini with her long success story of 56 medals (including Olympic, World and European Games), 35 of which were gold. Of course, stories of success but also of many hardships, renunciations, commitment and determination that have never failed, not even in the 'Moments of Glory', this year's theme of the Festival.

    Bad weather damage in Val di Fassa, for contributions and indemnities applications from 1st October to 31st December 2022

    The applications for contributions and compensations foreseen following the damages caused by the bad weather in Val di Fassa, which occurred on 5th August, must be submitted from 1st October to 31st December 2022. The relevant procedures will start from the day following the submission deadline. This has been established by the Provincial Council by approving a measure, proposed by the president, with which it has defined the criteria and modalities for the granting to private subjects of the contributions and indemnities provided for by the provincial law on civil protection.

    Political elections 2022, voting will take place on Sunday 25 September, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., for the renewal of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic. In Trentino there are 451,142 people aged 18 and over. These are 219,987 males and 231,155 females. This is out of a total of 542,158 residents, 266,932 males and 275,226 females (these data, which come from Ispat, are updated to 1 January 2022). Of these, those eligible to vote, according to data from the Commissariat of the Government, are 417,154.

    Cigarette butts and discarded smoking products, the activities of RE - CIG S.r.l. expand

    With a measure proposed by the Councillor for the Environment, the Provincial Council has approved the location, within the framework of the Provincial Waste Management Plan, of an area - in the locality of Mochena in the cadastral municipality of Civezzano - to be used for the construction of a new plant for the treatment of cigarette butts and waste products. This measure expands the area of activity of the RE - CIG S.r.l. company. - which already operates, for the treatment of cigarette butts, in a neighbouring area to the one identified by the measure adopted today - and also expands the type of activity that the company will be able to carry out, which will also include the treatment of special waste from the smoking industry.
