Municipal waste water discharge authorisation

Authorisations for the discharge of wastewater under municipal competence municipal jurisdiction include:

1. industrial waste water discharges into the black sewer system
2. discharges of industrial waste water into the white sewer network;
3. discharges of industrial waste water into the soil, identified by Article 16, paragraph 1, number 3), 2nd sentence, of the T.U.L.P.
4. discharges of waste water assimilated to domestic sewage into surface waters from settlements with a volume < 2,000 cubic metres or with accommodation capacity < 30 people
5. discharges of waste water assimilated to domestic sewage into soil
6. discharges of wastewater assimilated to domestic and household sewage into sealed tanks;
7. discharges from alpine refuges into surface water, soil or sealed ponds (ref. Draft Water Remediation Plan);
8. discharges of domestic wastewater into the black sewer system.

The person whose activity generates a waste water discharge of the types described above.

The application may be submitted by the person who is legally entitled to represent the company or entity concerned or by the domestic user who needs to submit the application to the territorially competent municipality.
