Notification of commencement of non-hazardous waste recovery activities

The simplified procedure for the recovery of non-hazardous waste may replace the ordinary authorisation governed by Article 208 of Legislative Decree 152/2006, if the plant and management conditions indicated in the Ministerial Decree of 5 February 1998 are met.

This procedure applies when the types of waste and recovery activities strictly comply with the provisions of the Ministerial Decree of 5 February 1998.

If only the communication of commencement of activity for the recovery of non-hazardous waste must be made, download the appropriate forms "Forms of communication of commencement of activity for the recovery of waste simplified procedure". If in addition to the communication it is necessary to obtain other authorisations (e.g. authorisation for atmospheric emissions, authorisation for water discharges, etc.), it is necessary to apply for a Single Territorial Authorisation (AUT). Persons whose business activity falls within those listed above.

The application may be submitted by the person who is legally entitled to represent the enterprise or entity concerned.

Subsequently, the form can be sent

• as an attachment to an AUT application (click on the "Access the Service" button below)
• directly via PEC to aua.appa@pec.provincia.tn.it

In the case of new registration, technical changes (e.g. change of waste types, quantities, CER codes, treatment and storage methods) or renewal with technical changes, at least the following documents must be submitted

• Form 1 - Communication for the exercise of recovery activity and its annexes;
• Form 2 - Declaration in lieu of affidavit regarding possession of the subjective requirements and relative attachments;
• Form 3 - Technical report and attachments
• Mod. 3 - Technical report.

In the event of renewal of registration without technical changes, subjective changes and takeovers (e.g. change of company name, registered office, legal representative, company structure, ...), at least the following documents must be submitted

• Form 1 - Communication for the exercise of recovery activity and its annexes;
• Form 2 - Declaration in lieu of affidavit concerning the possession of the subjective requirements and its attachments.
