A tourist plane glided over the snowy surface at the foot of Cima Cece, the highest peak in the Lagorai, at 4.20 p.m. today. An emergency manoeuvre presumably due to a fault. Three people were on board the plane, one of whom suffered a slight injury. The passengers themselves contacted the 112 Single Emergency Centre, which sent the helicopter unit of the Autonomous Province of Trento and Trentino Alpine Rescue with the Moena and Caoria stations to the scene. The three people were rescued at the Paolo and Nicola bivouac, in the municipality of Predazzo - a short distance from the site of the plane - and transported to the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento. The plane, which has its propeller still intact, is safely at altitude. An on-site inspection is scheduled for tomorrow. The National Flight Safety Agency has been informed of the incident.
