   Baselga del Bondone, work to straighten the bend delivered

   Road works: today, February 28, 2023, works were handed over that will consist in the rectification and widening downstream of provincial road 85, at km 2+400, in the Municipality of Trento, in Baselga del Bondone - branch to Vigolo Baselga. The purpose of the work is to improve visibility and safety along the road section by adequately widening the curve at km 2+400. The width of the traffic lane in the direction of Baselga del Bondone will therefore be changed to 3 metres in the straight section up to a maximum of 4.5 metres at the point of maximum widening. The company that was awarded the contract has 120 natural and consecutive days to complete the work.

   Rare diseases: research, innovation and new paradigms are the topics chosen for the public meeting held today at Palazzo Consolati in Trento. The initiative, on Rare Disease Day, which is celebrated on 28 February, was organised by the Trentino Rare Disease Associations Network in collaboration with the Department of Cell, Computational and Integrated Biology (DipCibio) and the Interdepartmental Centre for Medical Sciences (Cismed) of the University of Trento. The provincial councillor for health, social policies, disability and family Stefania Segnana also spoke at the meeting this morning.

   Police Chief Giannini in Trento. Fugatti: collaboration for the good of the local community

   This morning, the Chief of Police Lamberto Giannini met the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, together with the other civil and military authorities of the territory, during a meeting promoted by the Questore Maurizio Improta. The meeting - which was informal in nature - was an opportunity to take stock of the most important challenges affecting Trentino. Challenges that, as was pointed out, must be tackled with the utmost synergy between institutions and law enforcement agencies. These include the fight against drug trafficking and attention to the pitfalls of the web. President Fugatti pointed out that Piazza Dante intends to continue to guarantee maximum cooperation: "The unceasing work of the State Police and all the forces of law and order is fundamental to making Trentino an increasingly safer territory. I would like to thank the Chief of Police for this important opportunity for discussion and I would like to thank all the operators who, with great commitment, achieve results that have a positive impact on people's lives'.

    Ischia emergency, Trentino delegation to survey storm damage

    The technical delegation of the Autonomous Province of Trento has been operational in Ischia since the beginning of the week, taking part in the complex operation to survey the damage caused last November by the bad weather. In addition to the first four operators, others will soon be added to complete the team of 15 provincial employees who will work for a period of three weeks. This intervention is part of the management of the emergency that has hit the island: extraordinary commissioner Giovanni Legnini has requested the support of the National Civil Protection Department, so that technicians from the various Regions and Autonomous Provinces can lend a hand in compiling the new AeDEI data sheets, for the detection of damage to buildings and structures following hydraulic and hydrogeological events. Once again, the Italian realities were coordinated by Piazza Dante, as part of the joint work with the National Civil Protection Department.
