At today's meeting, the Provincial Council identified the future president of the Bruno Kessler Foundation. He is Ferruccio Resta, full professor of Applied Mechanics of Machines at the Politecnico di Milano, until last December rector of the Politecnico di Milano and president of the Rectors' Conference. Today Resta is also president of the National Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Mobility (MOST) and an expert member of the Technical Mission Structure at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
A figure whose curriculum, experience and specialisation make him, in the executive's opinion, the right choice to complete the baton handover at the helm of FBK - which is one of the pivots of the Trentino research and innovation network - and to foster the Foundation's orientation towards present and future challenges, with a special focus on sustainability and technology transfer to the territory.
