Work has begun on the construction of the new Valdadige bridge between Peri and Rivalta, which will connect Trentino to the Veneto region and include Lessinia, Vallagarina, the Caprinese area, lower Trentino and Lake Garda. Today the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, the vice-president and councillor for infrastructure and transport of the Veneto region Elisa De Berti, the president of the Province of Verona Flavio Massimo Pasini and the mayors of the area laid the foundation stone of the new overpass that will replace the old one. "This work is an investment for the future and an example of how to make the best use of border fund resources to realise useful projects, which benefit everyone," said President Fugatti, "a strategy of cooperation for which we can remember, among the various interventions, the construction site started in recent months for the PalaRossa tunnel between the Primiero and Vanoi valleys and the Feltrino area.
