There is no mud on the street, but many objects now to be thrown away. These are the memories of a lifetime, which the inhabitants of Lugo kept in cellars, garages and on the ground floors of their houses. Old furniture, as well as books and toys. The water that flooded the Romagna town also wiped out memories and small pieces of family history. Here, even in the post-emergency period, Trentino is there. In the early hours of this morning the vehicles of Dolomiti Ambiente (Dolomiti Energia Group), which are assisting the multi-utility Hera, entered into action in the streets of the centre. The vehicles - a dozen or so - left for Romagna before dawn, under the coordination of the Department of Civil Protection, Forests and Fauna of the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Risk Prevention and Cue, Road Management, Restoration, Mountain Basins, Roads and Forests Services. On site, 19 operators are working non-stop with wheel loaders, excavators and compactors. The collected material is stored in a depot, from where it will leave for its final disposal destination. Tomorrow the number of personnel involved in the operations will increase to 35. The aim is to clean up the city centre by the weekend. When the Lugo purification plant is restored, Novareti will also be in action with its hydro-purge vehicles to restore the drainage capacity of streets and white water sewers. In addition to Mayor Davide Ranalli's thanks, the operators received the embrace of the people, who presented them with homemade sweets.
