Until Thursday evening, the Alps will be affected by partly unstable westerly currents. A temporary improvement is expected today, but already in the late afternoon and especially in the evening and into the next night, showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop moving eastwards.
Also tomorrow, Thursday, until late evening, variable conditions are expected with the probable development of locally intense showers and thunderstorms. The thunderstorms may be locally intense and accompanied by hail even of medium size, frequent lightning, strong wind gusts and heavy rainfall in a short time.
In the light of these forecasts, the Trentino Civil Protection urges caution in the event of thunderstorms.
