The "Interreg Dialog" European project, launched in August 2019, which saw the collaboration of seven European entities: the Autonomous Province of Trento as coordinator and the Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione for Italy; the Region of Flanders (Belgium); the Chamber of Commerce of Vrasta (Bulgaria); the Department of Education, Culture and Sport and the Division of Professional Training of the Canton of Ticino (Switzerland); the Land of Lower Saxony (Germany); and the Region of Castilla la Mancha (Spain), ended with the final event on 9 June.
In order to highlight and make possible the evaluation of the results achieved, the Province, the lead agency, through the European Union Resources and Territorial Development Office of the UMST Coordination of Local Authorities, Territorial and Mountain Policies, organised the event at the headquarters in Piazza Dante in Trento, during which the results and outputs of the project were presented, such as the guidelines for the implementation of participatory processes and a new model on the methods of participation itself.
As emphasised by the Councillor for Local Authorities, Transport and Mobility, Mattia Gottardi, "the Autonomous Province of Trento is proud to have accompanied the implementation of such a significant project involving numerous European realities. It is now a matter of further developing the dialogue within the established partnership network, creating opportunities, tools and methods to strengthen territorial cohesion in the provincial and European spheres".
