   Civil service, applications open for 48 new projects

   The first of four selection rounds for the provincial Universal Civil Service begins. Young people aged between 18 and 29 (not yet completed) can apply and be selected for one of the 48 open projects, with a total of 79 places available. The deadline is set independently by each project but will not go beyond 31 January. The start for all projects is scheduled for 1 March, with an average commitment of 30 hours per week and a monthly remuneration of EUR 600.
   "I am happy to announce the start of the first of the four selection windows for the Provincial Civil Service," emphasises Vice-President and Councillor for Youth Policies Francesca Gerosa. "Each project offers a unique opportunity, with locations in different parts of Trentino and employment sectors ranging from the environment to animation, from assistance to communication, from culture to education and training, and even projects focused on schools. The Civil Service should not be seen only as a commitment, but as an opportunity for personal growth and training of new skills, in a real operational context. The chance to make a difference in one's community is now in the hands of the young people who choose to participate in Civil Service."

    Province, welcoming 43 new employees

    Welcoming ceremony this morning in the Sala Belli in Trento, in the Province's headquarters building, for 43 new provincial employees who took up their posts in December and January. There are 43 employees, 15 women and 28 men, with an average age of 38.5 years (the average age of provincial employees as of 31.12.2022 was 49.67 years). The new employees will be placed in different levels and for different functions in various sectors. This morning - in a ceremony moderated by the Head of the Press Office Giampaolo Pedrotti - they were welcomed by the Councillor for Urban Planning, Energy and Transport Mattia Gottardi, the Director General of the Autonomous Province of Trento Raffaele De Col, the General Manager of the Organisation, Personnel and General Affairs Department Luca Comper, the General Manager of the Crafts, Commerce, Promotion, Sports and Tourism Department Sergio Bettotti and the Director of the Personnel Department Maria D'Ippoliti.

    As part of the series "Incontri al Museo per parlare di fauna" (Meetings at the Museum to talk about fauna), on 10 January 2024 the Muse will host an evening with Caterina Ferrari of the Gran Paradiso National Park.

    Since 2006 the Gran Paradiso National Park has undertaken a study project that, through captures, markings and observations, shows important results on the adaptations of marmots within a habitat that changes very quickly.
