   Council meeting in Castel Condino on Friday

   A stop in Castel Condino next Friday, 1 March, for the Provincial Council of Trento, which in its programme of out-of-town meetings has accepted the invitation of the Valle del Chiese administration. The welcome by the local authorities is scheduled for around 9.30 a.m. and, after examining the agenda, a discussion between the municipal and provincial councils is scheduled. At the end, around 1 p.m., there will be the usual press conference.

    Road closures update

    Road cleaning and widening operations continue by the Province's Road Management Service, assisted on certain stretches by private companies. We would like to remind you that as of 15 November, it has been mandatory to travel with snow tyres or chains on board during snowfall. It is recommended to moderate speed and drive with particular caution, due to the presence of slippery road sections, snow removal vehicles and snow cutters in action on the higher roads.
    The latest traffic updates include:
    
    - SP79 del Brocon closed due to avalanche danger from loc. Piancavalli to Passo Brocon;
    
    - SP25 road closed at km 0.600 in the locality of Aldeno due to landslides upstream of the road. Diversions via SP20 Cei - Villa Lagarina;
    
    - SP22 Chizzola-Brentonico, road closure due to landslide in the locality of Fontechel in the municipality of Brentonico in both directions.

    President Fugatti's greeting to Colonel Quarto and the next commander of the 2nd Alpine Genius Guastatori Regiment in Trento, Colonel Cazzani

    Over the next few days, the ceremony to change the commander of the 2nd Alpine Guastatori Genio Regiment will be held at the C. Battisti barracks in Trento. This morning, the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, received Colonel Michele Quarto, the outgoing commander, who is about to transfer to another post, and Colonel Davide Cazzani, who will take over the command of the Regiment from him. The President wished the two officers good work. The meeting offered the opportunity to underline the existing cooperation between the Army and the Province.

    The extensive precipitation that is affecting Trentino has not created widespread or particular inconveniences for the time being, according to the Province's Road Management Service. It is still snowing in several places. Road cleaning and widening operations are underway by the Road Management Service, assisted in certain sections by private companies. We would like to remind you that since 15 November, it has been compulsory to travel with snow tyres or chains on board during snowfall. We recommend moderating speed and driving with particular caution, due to the presence of slippery stretches of road, snow removal vehicles and snow cutters in action on the higher roads.
