Grants to organise training courses for Trentino agrotourism operators

With the application, the Associations of agri-tourism operators request the grant for the organisation of courses that are planned to be held in two periods within the reference year(first period: January to June - second period: October to December)

Applicant Associations shall submit a single application, which must contain a detailed programme of training and refresher courses that are planned to be held in the first period of the reference year running from January to June, as well as an outline programme of training and refresher courses that are planned to be held in the second period of the year running from October to December.

Training courses taking place and expenses incurred as from 1 January of the reference yearare eligible for funding.

Courses for which at least 5 agri-tourism operators are expected to participate are eligible for funding.

Each course must have a minimum duration of at least 4 hours.

Training and refresher courses must cover the following subjects

• reception,
• service,
• hospitality,
• marketing and promotion of Trentino products
• history of the territory and local production,
• communication,
• business management,
• foreign languages.

Eligible costs

The following costs incurred directly by the Associations of agri-tourism operators are fully eligible for the organisation of training and refresher courses

(a) costs incurred for teaching and tutoring;

(b) costs incurred for the purchase of consumables for exercises

(c) rental of equipment necessary for carrying out training activities, not qualifying as leasing, choosing the best offer from at least three comparable quotations

(d) rent and hire of classrooms and teaching facilities

(e) costs of publicising training initiatives;

f) organisational and management costs related to the organisation and management of the course, fixed at EUR 4.00 per hour per course participant, with a maximum of EUR 1,000.00 per course.

VAT is eligible if it is not recoverable under national VAT legislation.

Distance learning activities are eligible on condition that proof is provided of possession or availability of a suitable IT platform capable of ensuring the performance of the planned activities and the interactive involvement of all participants with the course lecturer or tutor.

The contribution is equal to 100% of the eligible expenditure.

The aid may not be cumulated with any other public support received from EU, national, regional or other public bodies to cover the same eligible costs.

This contribution is granted at "de minimis and may not exceed the limit of Euro 300,000.00 to each Association over a three-year period.

The application for assistance with the relative documentation must be submitted by pec to the address (serv.agricoltura@provincia.tn.it) or by hand to the Servizio Agricoltura, Via G.B. Trener 3 - Trento by 31 January of each year using the form below.

Limited to 2024 the application must be submitted within 20 days from the date of approval of the resolution of the implementation criteria.

The following documents must be enclosed with the grant application

1) training plan for the reference year with a detailed list of scheduled courses and related costs for the first semester and an outline programme of courses for the autumn period from October to December and containing the title of the courses and an indication of the total budgeted cost for each course.

In detailed programme the following items shall be indicated

- course title,

- mode of delivery of the course, whether face-to-face (with indication of venue location) or online,

- name of the training provider;

- duration in terms of hours

- no. of expected participants;

- details of costs expected to be incurred according to the list under 'Eligible costs'.

In outline programme only the titles of the courses that the Associations of agri-tourism operators plan to organise in the second period of the year must be indicated, indicating for each course the total estimated cost.

2) privacy statement;

3) declaration in lieu of affidavit regarding the application or non-application of withholding tax.

Further documentation

The beneficiary Associations must submit, by 30 September of each year, the final and detailed training plan for the autumn period (October - December) with an indication of the type of courses and details of the budgeted costs.
