The President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, also on behalf of the Provincial Executive, expresses his gratitude for the activities carried out by the Guardia di Finanza to combat drug trafficking. From the provincial executive, thanks are also addressed to the Magistracy, which coordinated the investigations.
The scale of the operation conducted, the provincial president emphasises, demonstrates how dangerous the activity was for the community.
Drug use and dealing, adds the president, are phenomena on which, as recent news reports confirm, much work still needs to be done in terms of culture and lifestyle choices, particularly for young people, but also in terms of territorial control, prevention and repression.
It is an effort, the president concludes, that must see everyone involved, from institutions to society, because it is the entire community that is affected by a criminal activity that has dramatic implications for many people and families.
From the Autonomous Province of Trento, therefore, with appreciation for the commitment of the police and investigators, the confirmation of the willingness to provide maximum cooperation to the authorities committed to making Trentino safer.
