A new stop in the area for the provincial councillor for health and social policies, who was at the APSP 'Giudicarie Esteriori' in Bleggio Superiore this morning, together with the director of the Office for policies in favour of non-self-sufficient persons, Micaela Gilli, Marcello Guidi of the provincial health and non-self-sufficiency policies service, and Dr Elisa Casagranda of the O.U. Cure Primarie - Distretto sud of the Apss. Welcoming the provincial councillor were Apsp president Martino Pellizzari with director Paolo Schönsberg and the other members of the board of directors, as well as the mayor of Bleggio Superiore and numerous other administrators from the Giudicarie Esteriori.
The Apsp manages the Rsa (nursing home) with 132 accredited beds, 122 in agreement, of which 112 basic with one relief bed and a further 10 beds reserved for the serious dementia unit. There is also a residential home with 6 beds, a physiotherapy service open to external users on a private basis, day care in the Rsa with 4 meals, and an important home delivery service in the area.
A major renovation and expansion project is currently underway.
