#domenicalmuseo: free entry to provincial museums on 6 October

Next 6 October, the first Sunday of the month, is confirmed as a special date for culture in Trentino: in fact, it will be possible to enter museums, castles and provincial archaeological sites free of charge, thanks to #domenicalmuseo, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture to which the Autonomous Province of Trento adheres, proposed from October 2024 to March 2025.
Many are the offers in the territory: in Trento you can visit MUSE, Buonconsiglio, Galleria Civica, Museo Caproni and S.A.S., the Underground Archaeological Space of Sas, under Piazza Cesare Battisti. In Rovereto the Mart and Casa Depero are open; in San Michele all'Adige the METS - Museo etnografico trentino San Michele. In Fiavé the Parco Archeo Natura and the Palafitte Museum. Free access also to Castel Beseno, Castel Thun and Castel Stenico, just to name a few of the places open to visitors free of charge. Here is a complete overview of the adhesions to the initiative.

Federico Faggin at Wired Next Fest: 'Man does not live by matter and numbers alone'

Man does not live by matter and numbers alone. This could be summed up as the dense speech "On the borderline between science and spirituality" by Federico Faggin this morning at Rovereto's Teatro Zandonai on the occasion of the Wired Next Fest. The 'noble father of the microchip', author of the essay Beyond the Invisible, launched a heartfelt appeal for the rediscovery of free will, understood as the ability to attribute meaning to reality and thus to replace competition with human cooperation in order to give life to a new Renaissance. The talk ended with a long signacopy.
