A very important point of reference for the provincial capital, but not only: the Tridentine House of the Young is a fundamental resource for the entire community, capable of welcoming women of different nationalities, ages, cultures, students, working women, adult women and the elderly, with a specific focus on offering support to women experiencing moments of personal difficulty.
A welcoming and open reality, which cooperates with social services throughout the province and responds to different and increasingly complex needs. The facility was visited this morning by the councillor for health, social policies and cooperation Mario Tonina, who met representatives of the association's board of directors and operators of the educational team. Also present were Social Policy Service manager Federica Sartori and Daniela Borra from the same service, who together with the councillor were welcomed by association president Flavia Fontana.
"I am delighted to make your acquaintance," said the councillor, "this House performs an important and unique service in Trentino and through you the Province intends to support a path of help for women that proves to be increasingly attentive, flexible, constantly present day and night, with a strong opening to the territory also thanks to the daytime offer of primary services. Today's visit helps me and the referents of the Social Policy Service to get to know the structure closely, to discuss the new complex needs you deal with and to collect your requests".
As the operators emphasised, the reception of vulnerable people and the increasing presence of complex health problems, as well as demanding aid projects, require strong teamwork and networking with the outside world. In fact, the need emerged to work in ever closer synergy between social and health services, such as mental health services in particular, in order to be able to support the life projects of the women taken in.
