Yellow alert issued by the Trentino Civil Protection for hydrogeological and hydraulic hazards, in view of the rainfall that will affect the provincial territory starting today evening. The alert will go off at 6 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday 8 October 2024, and will end at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. On the basis of the forecasts and assessments carried out, critical situations are considered possible, mainly due to erosion and landslides, but also flooding, landslides and rapid flows. The population is urged to pay the utmost attention to the conditions of the places to be travelled; avoid approaching watercourses, basins and subways, ramps and slopes that could be subject to landslides. Finally, one should avoid entering areas, buildings or places that could present abnormal or dangerous conditions.
