Councillor for Health, Social Policies and Cooperation Mario Tonina expresses satisfaction with the agreement recently reached in APRAN with all the trade unions representing health workers, with which the foundations have been laid for an important economic recognition starting from the year 2024 on the tabular salary and indemnity items.
"It is by enhancing the value of the staff working in healthcare that we can guarantee a quality public service that responds promptly to needs: citizens must be able to rely on our professionals with confidence. I would like to thank the delegation that led the negotiations and the trade unions for understanding how the Council made an important effort, which led to positive results. Now I have given a mandate to work on the legal part, to update the professional order, which is suffering from regulatory obsolescence. With the 2024 adjustment that will open in July, moreover, equal arrears will be guaranteed on the appropriate items from the years 2022 and 2023'.
