"What you are beginning is a challenging but very important university course for the community and for our health system. I confirm that we want to pay attention to the sector and continue to invest in enhancing the professionals working in this area, which we want to be increasingly attractive. We have intervened in the budget and we will also return to this theme with the next provincial budget': this was emphasised by the councillor for health, social policies and cooperation Mario Tonina as he greeted the students of the three-year nursing degree course at the welcome event to open the academic year, at the University Centre for Health Professions in Trento. Present at the event were Anna Brugnolli, director of the University Pole, Sara Girardi, administrative director of Apss, Anita Bevilacqua, coordinator of the degree course, Paolo Fabene, president of the nursing degree course, Daniel Pedrotti, president of the Order of Nursing Professions of Trento (OPI), and Elisa Lombardi, a nurse in service at the councillor's office. First-, second- and third-year students and, via an online connection, also undergraduates were present.
