Trentino is ready to experience an Immaculate Conception 'in white'. For this reason, it will be essential to pay the utmost attention when driving along the roads, which may be particularly busy during these festive days. From the evening of Saturday 7 December until the middle hours of Sunday, the province will be affected by widespread snowfall, which will involve both mountainous areas and areas at lower altitudes. According to Meteotrentino's forecasts, snow accumulations of between 20 and 40 centimetres are expected above 800 metres, with even higher peaks possible, especially on the eastern and south-eastern mountains. The snowfalls will intensify in the night between Saturday and Sunday, with a particularly intense phase forecast for Sunday morning, when precipitation could also affect the lower areas, with accumulations that could reach 5-10 centimetres in Valsugana and, locally, a few centimetres also in the Adige Valley. From Sunday afternoon and until Monday morning, rainfall will be intermittent and of weak intensity, with a probable rise in the snow quota above 800 metres and low accumulations.
