Public sector contracts
The employment category known as ‘public sector’encompasses all roles within the public administration (PA), i.e. within all public bodies that provide services to citizens.
Pay and working conditions in employment relationships with public administrations are determined by collective bargaining in the public sector.
Following the signing of the framework agreement of 25 September 2003, the collective bargaining sectors are defined as follows:Local Authorities sector,Education sector,Health sector,Research sector.
In the province of Trento,the body responsible for representing the public administration in collective bargaining and for signing provincial contracts and agreements isthe Provincial Agency for Negotiation Representation (A.P.Ra.N.).

Framework Agreements
In this section, you can view the framework agreements relating to the public sector sectors falling within the remit of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
Local Government Sector
The Local Authorities sector comprises three distinct categories:
- municipal management and secretaries,
- staff holding the rank of director,
- other employees.
By selecting one of the tabs, you can view the relevant contract and any amendments to it.
School Section
The Education sector comprises two distinct areas:
- school heads;
- teaching staff at primary and secondary schools and educational institutions in the province, coordinators and teachers at nursery schools, auxiliary, technical and administrative staff at state schools, teaching assistants, vocational training staff at the PAT and IPAB staff providing vocational training services.
Healthcare Sector
The Health sector comprises three distinct categories of staff within the Provincial Health Services Agency (APSS):
- the category of medical, veterinary, dental and healthcare managers, including managers in the healthcare professions;
- the area comprising the remaining staff employed by the Provincial Health Services Agency;
- the area of professional, technical, administrative and healthcare management staff
of the Provincial Health Services Agency until the amendment of the ACPQ referred to in the agreement dated 6 December 2016.
Research Department
The Research Division comprises staff employed as researchers and technologists within the functional bodies of the Autonomous Province of Trento that carry out research activities.
University of Trento
The University of Trento’s administrative division comprises the technical and administrative staff, CEL staff (Language Assistants and Experts) and the University’s management staff, in accordance with Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 142/2011.

Provincial Agency for Negotiation Representation - APRAN
The Provincial Agency for Negotiating Representation (A.P.Ra.N.) constitutes the body of the Autonomous Province of Trento competent to represent the Administration in collective bargaining and the signing of provincial contracts and agreements.
