The race for 'Vermiglio', the film by Maura Delpero, winner of the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival and Italy's official candidate for the Oscars, continues. The film, shot in Val di Sole with the support of the Trentino Film Commission, has now entered the Golden Globes for 2025, the prize awarded in January that opens the season of prestigious film awards that culminates in February with the Academy's famous statuettes.
"The entire Trentino community continues to cheer for this extraordinary work that tells the story and culture of our territory with the power of the language of cinema, with images that move and speak to the hearts of viewers. We therefore wish the best of luck to this film, a symbol of our land, to the director Maura Delpero and to all those who worked on it," were the words of the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, and the Vice-President and Councillor for Culture, Francesca Gerosa.
