   The biotope consists of a small local wetland reserve located in a saddle, in a very picturesque landscape setting.
   Two small streams originate from it and feed other wetlands located downstream.

   Riparian marshland along both banks of the Avisio torrent not far from the Centro Fondo Lago di Tesero, municipality of Tesero.

   It coincides for a large part with the Special Area of Conservation Lake and is one of the protected areas that make up the Fiemme - Destra Avisio Network of Reserves.

   Tre Cime di Monte Bondone Integral Nature Reserve

   Provincial nature reserve

   Established in 1968, it covers 185 hectares in the Monte Bondone State Forest, immediately west of Trento, in a mountainous area between 1580 and 2179 m above sea level.

   The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and is one of the protected areas that make up the Bondone Reserve Network.

   Established in 1971, it is located in the Lessini Mountains, in continuity with the Lessinia Nature Park and the State Forest of Giazza (VR). It includes the Trentino part of the Giazza State Forest and extends over 426 hectares.

   The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation.

   Scanuppia Guided Nature Reserve

   Provincial nature reserve

   It covers 529 hectares of state-owned land in the Vigolana area, just south of Trento. It occupies a mountainous area, mainly occupied by forest, with open areas once used for grazing. It is a very special protected area, established in 1992 for the protection of wildlife through appropriate measures to recreate the environment.

   The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation.

   Corna Piana di Brentonico Guided Nature Reserve

   Provincial Nature Reserve

   Established in 1972, it is located on the Monte Baldo group. It extends over 52 hectares in a predominantly alpine pasture environment. The area, like other areas of Monte Baldo, is home to numerous uncommon or rare plants with a very limited geographical distribution.

   The Reserve is included in the larger Monte Baldo di Brentonico Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area. The area is included in the territory of the local Monte Baldo Nature Park.

   Cariceto along the course of the Avisio torrent, between the villages of Mazzin and Campestrin, municipality of Mazzin (Val di Fassa).

   The nature reserve is one of the protected areas that make up the Val di Fassa Network of Reserves - Cordanza per l patrimonie naturel.

    Cariceto with sphagnum trees in the Malga Mondifrà area, above Campo Carlo Magno, municipality of Pinzolo.

    The local reserve is included in the larger Natura 2000 area ZSC Dolomiti di Brenta and in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park territory.

    An active peat bog located in a glacial excavation basin in a depression between Monte Ori and Dosso della Ceora in the upper Val di Non, municipality of Borgo d'Anaunia.

    The local reserve is included in the Natura 2000 area ZSC Laghetto delle Regole, to which reference should be made for more in-depth naturalistic information.

    Special Area of Conservation (SAC)

    Massif of granite nature in western Trentino, with vast glaciers and furrowed in all directions by long glacial valleys, rich in water.
    The slopes are covered by vast forests of conifers (spruce and larch, with nuclei of stone pine) and broadleaf trees (beech), interrupted by meadow clearings; on the valley floor and in the glacial cirque shelves there are frequent peat bogs and small lakes.
    Beyond the forest edge, alpine pastures are widespread everywhere.

    The biotope consists of a peaty basin where a spring flows into the Regnana stream.
    The sealing of the basin and the consequent formation of this wetland environment is due to the presence of moraine deposits that cause the water table to rise.
    The interest of the biotope is not only linked to biological emergencies, but is also increased by the discovery of archaeological finds, in particular Bronze Age smelting furnaces, in an excellent state of preservation.

    A basin of glacial origin on the Dossone di Cembra, carved into the porphyries and completely occupied by the vegetation of transition peat bogs.

    Situated at the summit of the Dossone di Cembra, a mountainous complex of porphyry nature that divides the Adige and Cembra Valleys, the heart of the nature reserve is the Valda Lake, a small and rare 'strip of arctic' located in our region.

    The reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and is one of the protected areas that make up the Val di Cembra Avisio Network of Reserves.
