  • Vocational guidance and job accompaniment
    Depending on your specificities and needs, the Job Centre operator may offer you orientation or job accompaniment activities:
    - theorientation activity, carried out through individual or group interviews, aims to support the user in defining a work and/or training project
    -accompaniment to work helps the user to master the typical job search tools (how to write a curriculum vitae, how to sit for an interview, etc.) and to come into contact with companies.
    These activities can also be carried out at the network of subjects accredited to the employment services: the Job Centre operator can in fact provide you with a purchase order to be spent at one of the subjects accredited to the employment services for the implementation of the agreed service.

    - registration in the Job Centre database
    In each Job Centre there is a database to which people can enrol themselves by having an interview with an operator. This interview focuses on the job sought, skills possessed, experience, availability for working hours and travel, type of contract, etc. Following a specific company request, the Job Centre carries out a targeted search within the database and makes available to the company the CVs of workers who meet the requirements sought.
    - application in recruitment campaigns
    Throughout the year, Agenzia del Lavoro promotes recruitment campaigns relating to the sectors and professions most in demand, to which interested persons can apply and through which companies can request staff. Active campaigns to which you can apply are published on the homepage of the Agenzia del Lavoro website and periodically publicised on social media and other provincial channels.

What to do

To access job search services contact your nearest Job Centre and follow these three steps:

  1. register, if you have not already done so, with the Job Centre
    If you do not have a job and are looking for one, you can register with the Job Centre as 'unemployed' by declaring your immediate availability for work (DID).
    Depending on your situation, there are three different ways to register:

    1) If you have finished a job and are entitled to NASpi or DIS-Coll
    If you have terminated a job and are eligible for NASpi (New Social Insurance for Employment - unemployment benefit) or DIS-Coll, you must
    - either apply at a trusted patronage;
    - or, apply online at the INPS website.
    By applying for NASpi you automatically register as unemployed at the Employment Centre.
    Afterwards, you will have to go to your nearest Job Centre to receive services to help you find another job.

    2) If you are not working and not entitled to NASpi or DIS-Coll
    If you are not entitled to NASpi you can register as unemployed at the Job Centre
    - using the online procedure on the ANPAL (National Agency for Active Employment Policies) website;
    - or you can go to the Job Centre for help with this procedure.

    3) If you are at risk of unemployment
    If you have received a dismissal letter, you can register with the Job Centre exclusively using the online procedure on the ANPAL website.

    NB! If you are working but need/want to change jobs, you do not need to register with the Job Centre; go directly to steps 2 and 3.
  2. do the profiling
    At the Job Centre you will be "profiled" through a series of questions useful for defining your professional history in order to measure your employability.
  3. stipulate the personalised service pact and discover the dedicated services
    Depending on the degree and type of need revealed during the profiling phase, you may be offered one or more services, agreed upon in a customised Service Pact. The Service Pact is an agreement signed between the person and the Job Centre and within it all the information relating to the rights and duties of the person registered with the Job Centre, the personalised services agreed upon and the commitment of both parties to complete these activities are detailed.
