Seismic authorisation for major structural interventions

The application must be made before the start of the structural works and before proceeding, it is necessary to wait until the file has been successfully closed and the relevant authorisation sent.

Construction companies carrying out structural works or delegated professionals.

The authorisation request complete with all the documentation must be submitted through the SUAP portal of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

Please note that this procedure is only to be used in seismic zone 2 for interventions that are relevant to public safety (Presidential Decree 380/2001 art. 94 bis):

• new constructions that deviate from the usual types;
• new construction, adaptation or improvement of strategic and relevant works.

The SUAP portal guides you through filling in various screens and uploading attachments:

• MDA form - generated by the SUAP;
• Summary list - generated by the SUAP;
• Power of attorney (if any) of the company/ies to an attorney for the submission and signature of the complaint;
• Appointment form of the tester;
• Acceptance form of the tester;
• Illustrative report form;
• Structural designer's asseveration form for authorisation;
• Complete structural project of all components;
• Architectural project;
• Any other free attachments.

Please note that:

• all documents must be saved in PDF/A prior to signing;
• documents signed with handwritten signatures must be accompanied by a copy of an identity document of the signatory.
