Patronage of the Stelvio National Park - Trentino

The Stelvio National Park - Trentino may grant patronage for the moral recognition of initiatives of public interest, particularly relevant from a scientific, educational, didactic, sporting, environmental or cultural point of view, aimed at contributing to the knowledge and enhancement of the Park, such as, by way of example

• events
• exhibitions
• conferences and congresses
• seminars and workshops
• shows
• dissemination and awareness-raising initiatives
• publishing initiatives

These initiatives shall be consistent with the Park's vision, mission and institutional purposes, or contribute to promoting or enhancing its image and activities.
Initiatives may also take place outside the Park's territory.

The granting of patronage does not imply the assignment of contributions or other forms of support, it being understood that the same concession is not incompatible with the application of other facilities or forms of collaboration that may be envisaged by the provisions in force.

With the patronage the use of the Park's emblem is granted free of charge, which shall be placed on the material concerning the initiative that is the object of the patronage, in adequate prominence and in any case at least with equal prominence compared to the identifying signs of other possible patrons of the initiative.

The subjects benefiting from the patronage shall report in all forms of communication and dissemination concerning the initiatives (invitations, posters, etc.) that the same activities are realised with the patronage of the Park, with the indication "with the patronage of the Stelvio National Park - Trentino".

Beneficiaries of patronage shall not grant third parties the use of the Park's emblem.

The Park may revoke the patronage in the case of a substantial change, not previously authorised, of the proposed initiative, or if the Park establishes that the conditions to which the patronage is subject have disappeared, even partially.

Patronage may be granted to

• public bodies and their associative and collaborative forms,
• entities and companies of the provincial public system
• Third Sector entities pursuant to Article 4 of Legislative Decree No 117 of 3 July 2017 (Third Sector Code)
• universities and cultural, scientific, educational, sporting and social institutions

Patronage applications must be received at least 30 days before the date of the organised event and must be addressed to theStelvio National Park Management Office by filling in the appropriate form (see below).

The patronage request must contain all the elements necessary to allow the Park to assess its eligibility.

In particular, it shall report

a) the date and duration of the activities or initiatives;
b) the indication of the requesting subject and of its statutory or institutional activity
c) the objectives and motivations of the activities or initiatives, with evidence of their consistency with the Park's vision;
d) the detailed programme of the activities or initiatives
e) the modalities of use of the emblem, in compliance with the provisions of art. 7;
e) any other documentation that the applicant deems useful to attach to the application in relation to the nature of the right to be granted.

The time limit for the procedure is set at 30 days from the day following the day of receipt of the application.

The order in which applications are processed is chronological, based on the date of receipt of the application complete with the required documentation. The provisions on administrative procedure laid down in the provincial regulations in force apply.

As a rule, patronage is granted for a fixed term, for the duration of the initiative for which it is granted. In the case of periodically repeated initiatives, the Park's patronage shall not be tacitly renewed from time to time.

In the case of printed or digital works, patronage shall be understood as being granted only for the current edition. For possible re-editions, the renewal of patronage shall be subject to the express consent of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas
