PNRR - contributions for widespread hospitality - Municipality of Palù del Fersina

Economic contribution for the redevelopment and renovation of rural buildings to be used for tourist accommodation activities up to a maximum of 200,000 euro per beneficiary.

These contributions are part of the broader project Attractiveness of the historical villages line of action A - Palù del Fersina - the strength of the minority: rebirth of a Germanic village south of the Alps and aim at preserving and enhancing the historical settlements of Palù del Fersina, in a sustainable, authentic way for a slow cultural tourism characterised by the Mochena rural tradition.

Aims to be achieved

1. recovery of mountain heritage buildings, historical centres or isolated historical buildings of private property on the municipal territory
2. overall redevelopment of the building unit or its appurtenances
3. preservation of the Mochene landscape and cultural characteristics
4. use of "diffuse hospitality" tourist accommodation for at least 10 years with coordinating subjects of the network

The beneficiaries, against a maximum contribution of 200,000 euro, equal to 70% of the eligible expenditure, must undertake to run the accommodation business on the property for a duration of at least 10 years from the administrative and accounting conclusion of the procedure.

Natural persons and private for-profit and non-profit entities( individual or corporateenterprises, civilly recognised ecclesiastical bodies, third sector entities and other associations, foundations, cooperatives) owning or holding rights in rem, also by shares, of real estate located in the entire territory of the municipality of Palù del Fersina

There are several steps to obtain funding:

1. Application for a grant
2. Granting of the contribution and signing of the deed of obligation
3. Project implementation:
   • Work progress (SAL)
   • Any request for project variation
   • Reporting of works and request for payment of the grant or balance

All the information concerning the procedure can be found in Annex 1 of the Deliberation of the Provincial Council no. 563 dated 22 April 2024 and in the vademecum approved by Deliberation of the Provincial Council no. 2223 dated 23 December 2024.

Determination no. 11821 of 31 October by the Director of the Urban Planning and Landscape Protection Service approved the list of interventions eligible for funding. The grant is ordered by provision and communicated individually to the beneficiaries.

The grant is paid out once the work has been completed, the accommodation activity has started and all the documentation relating to the financial statements has been submitted. Advance payments of up to a maximum of 70% of the contribution granted may be requested, subject to presentation of the work progress report.

Moreover, as highlighted both in the public notice and in the above-mentioned vademecum, the disbursement of the grant is subject to compliance with the DNSH principle during the entire course of the work being financed (Sheet 2 and Sheet 12 with the relevant operational guides are provided in the "Documents" section).
