Grants to municipalities for emergency prevention - Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026'

Granting of contributions to municipalities for the implementation of urgent prevention interventions and activities provided for in the Order of the President of the Province of 22 April 2025 and subsequent amendments, concerning "Exceptional event pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, letter d) of Provincial Law 1 July 2011, no. 9" ("Milan - Cortina 2026" Olympic and Paralympic Event)

The municipality entrusted with the implementation of an activity/intervention foreseen in the ordinance may submit an application to the Risk Prevention Service and Single Emergency Centre

Municipalities affected by the ordinance of the President of the Province prot. no. 447722 of 22 April 2025 and subsequent amendments concerning "Exceptional event pursuant to art. 2, paragraph 1, lett. d), of the provincial law no. 9 of 1 July 2011 - Update of the list of interventions and management activities of the Olympic and Paralympic Event "Milan - Cortina 2026" and further provisions".

The municipality applies for the grant, using the form published on the Province's institutional website, in one of the following ways

• direct delivery to the competent structure
• transmission by postal service, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. For the purposes of compliance with the deadlines, the date of dispatch shall be taken as the date of dispatch;
• (preferably) transmission by telematic means, in compliance with the relevant technical rules, via P.I.Tre. interoperability or to the address: serv.prevenzionerischi@pec.provincia.tn.it

The grant application, drawn up according to the appropriate form, must be enclosed:

For public works

• photographic documentation showing the state of the sites;
• technical and economic feasibility/executive project;
• if the project item "sum available" includes the purchase or expropriation of real estate or land amounting to 50% or more of the investment:
  • copy of the deed of the competent body for the technical approval of the acquisition of the real estate;
  • for purchases: appraisal report
  • for expropriations: estimate of expropriation costs
• act of approval in technical or final line of the technical and economic feasibility project or of the executive project

For services and supplies

• the project referred to in Annex I.7, Article 4a of Legislative Decree No. 36 of 31 March 2023;
• technical or final approval of the project referred to in Annex I.7, Article 4a of Legislative Decree No 36 of 31 March 2023;

By the end of the 'Milan - Cortina 2026' Olympic and Paralympic event

The outcome of the procedure is formally communicated to the requesting municipality, indicating the reference of the measure and the site where it is published.

In the event of a negative outcome, the Municipality may file

• appeal to the Regional Administrative Court, within 60 days from the notification/communication of the act, pursuant to Law no. 1034/71;
• extraordinary appeal to the President of the Republic, within 120 days of service of the act, pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 1199/71.
