Description
This is the application submitted by sports associations or clubs that have been awarded a grant to carry out, within the province, campaigns to promote awareness and participation in sporting activities, aimed at encouraging, including as an alternative:
a) introducing young people up to the age of 14 to sport;
b) multi-sport programmes comprising at least three disciplines for young people up to the age of 14.
The grant is paid at a rate of 15 per cent of eligible expenditure and, in any event, subject to the limit of the budget shortfall and the grant awarded for introducing young people up to the age of 14 to sport.
The grant is paid at a rate of 30 per cent of eligible expenditure and, in any event, within the limits of the budget shortfall and the grant awarded for multi-sport programmes comprising at least three disciplines for young people up to the age of 14, i.
The grant amount is increased by 5 percentage points if the promotional campaigns have actively involved Olympic ambassadors in activities aimed at learning, putting into practice and promoting Olympic and/or Paralympic values.
The grant is provided for under Article 15(1)(b) of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016, ‘Provincial Law on Sport 2016’.
Restrictions
The applicant must have previously submitted an application for a grant, and the grant must have been awarded to them by a decision of the head of the provincial department responsible for sport.
