Grants for organising and/or participating in European sporting initiatives (application)

This is a grant for the organisation and/or participation of a team of athletes put together by the committees, delegations or provincial branches of sports federations or associated sports disciplines, in events included in the sports programmes within the framework of the Arge Alp working community of the Alpine regions and the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino.

Eligible expenses are those for which supporting documents were issued after the date of submission of the grant application, relating to:
a) transport and hire;
b) board and lodging;
c) reimbursements and remuneration for the following sports professionals: instructors, coaches, technical directors,
sporting directors, fitness coaches;
d) reimbursements and remuneration for sports coaches registered with professional bodies;
e) reimbursements to sports volunteers;
f) remuneration and reimbursements to administrative staff;
g) expenses relating to the direct organisation of the event.

The grant is awarded at a rate of 70 per cent of eligible expenditure and, in any event, subject to the deficit and taking into account the resources made available.

The grant is provided for under Article 36 of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016, ‘Provincial Law on Sport 2016’.

From 1 April 2026, access to public grants and subsidies by beneficiaries registered in the Companies Register who own, manage or use land, buildings, plant, machinery, and industrial and commercial equipment as referred to in Article 2424, first paragraph, Assets section, heading B-II, numbers 1), 2) and 3) of the Civil Code,used in the course of business, shall be subject to the taking out of an insurance policy covering damage caused to such assets by natural disasters and catastrophic events. The policy must be in force at the time the grant is awarded and must remain in force for the entire duration of the initiatives. In the event of failure to comply with the insurance obligation – implemented at provincial level by Provincial Executive Resolution No. 2114 of 19 December 2025 – the grant will be refused.

Committees, delegations or provincial branches of national sports federations, sports promotion bodies or associated sports disciplines recognised by CONI or CIP and operating at provincial level in the amateur sports sector.

Sports associations and clubs registered in the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities and operating at provincial level in the field of amateur sport, delegated by the committees, delegations or provincial branches of the national sports federations, sports promotion bodies or associated sports disciplines to which they are affiliated.

The application must be signed by the legal representative of the sports organisation.

The grant application must be submitted using the editable form provided by the local authority and sent as a static PDF or JPG file to the certified email addressserv.sport@pec.provincia.tn.it.

1. An application form completed in full, dated and signed.
2. A report describing the planned initiative, dated and signed.
3. A financial plan setting out the income and expenditure relating to each type of eligible expenditure.
4. Where applicable, a document by which the committee, delegation or provincial branch of the national sports federation, the sports promotion body or the associated sports discipline delegates the affiliated sports association or club to participate in and/or organise the initiative.
5. Information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No 679 of 2016, dated and signed.
6. A photocopy of the applicant’s identity document, if the application is signed by hand on a scanned document and not in the presence of the relevant staff member.

Applications for funding must be submittedbetween 1 January and 31 March each year.
